We are your blockchain development company in Bahrain

We build blockchain products for companies in Bahrain with our in-house team, starting from how the Central Bank separates crypto-asset services, token offerings and stablecoin issuance.

Blockchain development in Bahrain, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product that can be launched, operated and grown. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and integrates them with your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Bahraini framework, from the architecture

Before choosing a network we separate what is issued from what service is provided: a token offering under CRA-15, a CRA licence by category or a stablecoin under the SIO module. Each route changes reserves, custody and who answers to the CBB.

  2. Smart contracts ready for review

We write your business logic with tests and peer review, and the code is prepared for an external audit and a gradual deployment before it goes into production.

  3. In English and on your hours

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, with the people who design and write the code. We meet during your office hours, and anything that does not need a meeting is settled in writing.

  4. A foundation that can keep evolving

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring. Your team gets a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding capabilities.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Bahrain

Bahrain already recognises electronic transferable records, has certified its pearls since 1990 and regulates stablecoin issuance; these cases start there.

  • Container stacks and ship-to-shore cranes at a port in Bahrain in early morning haze, electronic bills of lading with blockchain in Bahrain

    Electronic bills of lading

In 2018, Bahrain adopted a law based on the UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records: a bill of lading can circulate in electronic form.

  • Natural pearls on a red cloth beside a pearl merchant's brass sieves in Manama, natural pearl reports with blockchain in Bahrain

    Natural pearl reports

The law that came with the 1990 pearl testing laboratory forbids altering its certificates or swapping the pearl after testing; DANAT, its successor, checks each report against its archive.

    Blockchain for Fashion & Luxury
  • Potline hall of an aluminium smelter with a worker seen from behind in the haze, aluminium traceability with blockchain in Bahrain

    Aluminium traceability

The Alba aluminium smelter holds Aluminium Stewardship Initiative chain of custody certification; each consignment can carry its certificate to the customer.

    Blockchain for Energy & Sustainability
  • Person seen from behind reviewing printed ledgers in a treasury office overlooking Manama bay, stablecoin reserves with blockchain in Bahrain

    Stablecoin reserves

The CBB's SIO module requires reserves worth at least the face value in circulation and redemption at par; the record reconciles every issuance and redemption against reserves.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Bahrain

In Bahrain the Central Bank (CBB) is the supervisor. Its Crypto-Asset (CRA) module licenses services by category, CRA-15 requires written approval for token offerings and the SIO module, added in July 2025, governs stablecoin issuance with backing and redemption rights. A category 3 licence does not allow you to operate an exchange, which belongs to category 4, and a broker licence does not by itself authorise issuing a stablecoin.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Bahrain

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Bahrain

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Bahrain?

It depends on the role. Providing crypto-asset services in or from Bahrain requires a CRA licence from the CBB in the category that covers the activity; offering tokens requires written approval under CRA-15, with a licensed digital adviser, and issuing stablecoins requires the SIO regime, with a local joint stock company, reserves and redemption. Adding an activity not included in the licence needs prior approval, and the local licence is not a passport to other markets. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to their first funding round, and established companies on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with strict compliance requirements. In every case, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Bahraini companies?

In English or in Spanish if your team prefers, in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings are set in your hours, and we organise the work through shared documentation, decision meetings and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, the number of integrations and the level of review required. Before development we agree scope, dependencies and deliverables for each phase; with that you decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration, without treating an MVP as if it were the complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one that fits the product requirements, not the one in fashion. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation includes contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and keeps in mind who will use the product.
