We are your blockchain development company in Lithuania

We build blockchain products for companies in Lithuania with our in-house team, designing each project around the CASP authorisation that Lietuvos bankas has handled since the former VASP regime ended.

Blockchain development in Lithuania, from idea to production

We take your use case to a product you can launch, operate and extend. One team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and connects them to your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Lithuanian framework, from the architecture

We separate crypto-asset services from securities issuance: the first needs CASP authorisation from Lietuvos bankas; the second falls under securities rules and, for DLT trading, its own permission. That boundary shapes custody, permissions and records.

  2. Smart contracts ready for an audit

We write your business logic with tests and peer review. Every contract is documented for an external audit and deployed in stages before it runs in production.

  3. In your language, on your time

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, directly with the people who design and write the code. Meetings are organised within your working hours, and between them the work continues in shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation to keep building on

We hand over documented code with deployments and monitoring planned. Your team gets a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding new features.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Lithuania

In Lithuania, MiCA applies alongside the 2024 national crypto-asset markets law, and Lietuvos bankas handles CASP authorisation. The transition period ended on 31 December 2025: since January 2026, the former VASP registration no longer allows a firm to keep providing services. Tokenized securities fall outside MiCA and are assessed under securities rules and the central bank's 2019 guidelines; the FNTT acts on the prevention and investigation of financial crime.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Lithuania

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Lithuania

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Lithuania?

MiCA governs crypto-asset issuance and services, supplemented by the 2024 national law. Providing those services requires CASP authorisation from Lietuvos bankas or, for certain financial entities, the Article 60 notification. If the token is a financial instrument, securities rules and the 2019 guidelines on security token offerings apply; if a service involving EMTs is also a payment service, PSD2 comes in. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. With startups we work from MVP validation to a product ready to show in a funding round; with established companies, on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with demanding compliance requirements. Either way, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Lithuanian companies?

You talk directly to the people who design and build the product, in English or Spanish. Decision meetings are set on your schedule, and the work is organised through shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, how many systems need integrating and the level of review required. Before development we agree the scope, dependencies and deliverables of each phase, so you can decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration. From the start, the plan separates an MVP from a complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one your product requirements call for, not the one in fashion. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and takes into account who the product is for.
