We are your blockchain development company in Romania

We build blockchain products for companies in Romania with our in-house team, designing each project around MiCA without assuming a national CASP authorisation route that has not yet been shown to be operational.

Blockchain development in Romania: dotted globe with the country marked by its flag

Blockchain development in Romania, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product you can launch, operate and extend. A single team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and integrates them with your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Romanian framework, from the architecture

We start with the entity that provides the service: a Romanian company depends on an authorisation route not yet shown to be available, while a provider authorised in another member state can use MiCA passporting. That shapes custody, permissions and records.

  2. Contracts prepared for review

Business logic comes with tests and peer review. We document every contract so an external auditor can review it, and deploy it in stages before it runs in production.

  3. In English, with meetings in your hours

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, directly with the people who design and write the code. Meetings are agreed within your hours, and the rest of the work is documented in a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation that can keep growing

We hand over documented code with deployments and monitoring planned. Your team inherits a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding new features.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Romania

Cases that build on controls Romania already applies, from the notice that travels with every timber truck to the unique code on every medicine pack.

  • Truck loaded with spruce logs on a forest track in the Carpathians, timber traceability with blockchain in Romania

    Timber with a SUMAL notice

Every timber shipment travels with an accompanying notice issued in SUMAL 2.0; the record links that notice to the felling site and to its arrival at the sawmill.

  • Copper cauldron of dark plum butter and crates of plums in an Argeș workshop, Topoloveni plum jam traceability with blockchain in Romania

    Topoloveni plum jam

The name Magiun de prune Topoloveni has been protected as a PGI in the EU register since 2011; each jar linked to its batch of plums and its cooking run.

  • Pharmacist seen from behind scanning a medicine pack in a Romanian pharmacy, medicine verification with blockchain in Romania

    Medicine verification

Since February 2019 the SNVM has checked each pack's unique code when it is dispensed; on top of that code, a shared record follows the batch from manufacturer to wholesaler and pharmacy.

  • Solar panels on the roof of a colourful Saxon house in a Transylvanian village, prosumer balance with blockchain in Romania

    Prosumer balance

Up to 200 kW, a prosumer offsets the energy it produces on its bill and can use any surplus for up to 24 months; the record keeps that balance per meter.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Romania

In Romania, MiCA applies directly, but public documentation does not yet evidence an operational national CASP authorisation route: in April 2026 the government held the first reading of the bill dividing powers between the ASF and the BNR. A provider authorised in another member state can offer services through European passporting. Law 126/2018 includes instruments issued using distributed ledger technology among financial instruments, so tokenizing a security does not take it out of securities rules.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Romania

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Romania

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Romania?

MiCA governs crypto-asset issuance and services, although the law that should set national authorities and procedures was still a bill in April 2026; the access route is therefore checked case by case, or a provider authorised in another member state is used. If the token is a financial instrument, Law 126/2018 applies. Law 129/2019 on AML, national DORA measures and tax reporting on form F8000 also apply. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. With startups we work from MVP validation to a product ready to show in a funding round; with established companies, on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with demanding compliance requirements. In both cases, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Romanian companies?

In English or Spanish, in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings are agreed within your working day. Shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel keep the work organised.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, how many systems need integrating and the level of review required. Before development we set the scope, dependencies and deliverables of each phase, so you can decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration. From the start, the plan separates an MVP from a complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one your product requirements call for, not the one in fashion. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and takes into account who the product is for.
