2. Purpose of the site

The site is informational and commercial in nature. It presents Metlabs' services in blockchain development, asset tokenization, consulting, regulation and training for companies; publishes editorial content (blog, glossary, news, and technology and regulation pages); and offers contact channels. The actual provision of professional services is governed by the proposal and contract that Metlabs signs with each client, not by these Terms.

3. Access and use conditions

Access to the site is free of charge and does not require registration. The user agrees to use the site diligently, in compliance with the law, good faith and these Terms. In particular, the user undertakes to:

  • Not use the site for unlawful or harmful purposes or purposes contrary to morality or public order.
  • Not introduce content that is defamatory, slanderous, obscene, threatening, xenophobic or that infringes third-party rights.
  • Not engage in activities that may damage, overload, impair or prevent the normal use of the site, including mass content extraction, reverse engineering, denial-of-service attacks and unauthorised automated use.
  • Not remove, manipulate or alter security or identification elements, copyright notices or other identifying features of the site or of Metlabs.

4. Forms and contact channels

The site offers a contact form, a job application form and links to messaging channels (WhatsApp and Telegram). When using them, the user warrants that the data provided is accurate, that they are authorised to provide it and that it does not include confidential third-party information without consent. Metlabs replies to the requests received within a reasonable time, but does not guarantee a reply or the acceptance of any application or proposal; receipt of a request does not create a contractual relationship.

Messaging channels are provided by third parties under their own terms; the user decides whether to use them.

5. Intellectual and industrial property

All content on the site (texts, images, graphics, videos, logos, trademarks, source code, designs, structure, databases and the selection and arrangement of content) is owned by Metlabs or by third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by domestic and international intellectual and industrial property regulations.

Any reproduction, distribution, transformation, public communication or other act of exploitation of the content, in whole or in part, without the express prior written authorisation of Metlabs is prohibited. Brief quotations are permitted for informational or academic purposes provided the source is clearly identified and a link to the original content is included.

7. Exclusion and limitation of liability

Metlabs makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published is accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee the absence of errors, omissions or temporary interruptions in access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metlabs shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of opportunity arising from the use of the site.

The content of the site, including editorial content on technology, tokenization and regulation, does not constitute legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and may become outdated after regulatory or technical changes. Before taking decisions based on it, the user should consult independent professional advisors.

8. Commercial communications

Metlabs only sends commercial communications by electronic means to those who have expressly authorised them (for example, by ticking the corresponding box on the contact form) or to its clients, in relation to services similar to those contracted, in accordance with Article 21 of the Spanish LSSI-CE. You can object and unsubscribe at any time through the link included in each communication or by writing to privacy@metlabs.io.

9. Data protection and cookies

The processing of personal data collected through the site is governed by the Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies and similar technologies by the Cookie Policy. We recommend reading them before using the forms or accepting the cookie banner.

10. Amendments to the Terms

Metlabs may amend these Terms at any time to adapt them to legal, technical or business changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of its last review. Use of the site following the publication of a new version implies acceptance of the amended Terms.

11. Partial nullity

If any clause of these Terms is declared null, invalid or unenforceable, the nullity will affect only that clause; the rest will remain in full force and the affected clause will be interpreted in the manner closest to its original purpose.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from their interpretation or performance, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of A Coruña (Spain), expressly waiving any other jurisdiction to which they may be entitled, save where mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, in particular in consumer and user matters.

If any clause of this document is declared null or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will stay in force. This document is published in Spanish and in English; in the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.
