We are your blockchain development company in Nigeria

We build blockchain products for companies in Nigeria with our in-house team, and from the design stage we separate each function the SEC registers from Central Bank permissions and tax obligations.

Blockchain development in Nigeria, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product ready to launch, operate and grow. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and integrates them with your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Nigerian framework, from the architecture

Before choosing a network we separate issuing, distributing, trading and custody: the SEC registers each function separately and sets its own capital, from NGN 1 billion for a real-world asset platform to NGN 2 billion for a custodian.

  2. Smart contracts ready for audit

We write your business logic with tests and peer review, and prepare the code for an external audit and a progressive deployment before it runs in production.

  3. In English and on your schedule

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, with the people who design and write the code. Meetings fit into your working day, and day-to-day work moves forward through shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation that can keep growing

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring. Your team inherits a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding features.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Nigeria

Nigeria already grades its cocoa, is piloting medicine traceability with GS1 codes and recognises real-world asset tokenization platforms; these cases build on that.

  • Cocoa beans drying in the sun on mats with jute sacks nearby in an Ondo village, graded cocoa with blockchain in Nigeria

    Graded cocoa

Nigerian export cocoa is graded I and II, with at most 7.5% moisture and up to 3% or 4% mouldy beans, packed in clean jute bags.

    Rural solar mini-grids

The USD 750 million DARES programme, funded by the World Bank, plans 1,225 solar hybrid mini-grids; each connection can be metered and recorded.

    Property on RATOP platforms

Since March 2026 the SEC has recognised real-world asset tokenization platforms (RATOP), with NGN 1 billion minimum capital; the token does not by itself transfer ownership.

    Medicines with GS1 codes

NAFDAC's pharmaceutical traceability regulation of October 2024 builds on GS1 standards and 2D DataMatrix codes; since 2025 it has been piloted with maternal and child health medicines.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Nigeria

The Investments and Securities Act 2025, in force since 25 March 2025, brings digital assets within the securities framework and gives the SEC powers over providers and markets; its ARIP programme grants approvals in principle, not final licences. Since December 2023 the Central Bank (CBN) has allowed banks to open accounts for virtual asset service providers, while still prohibiting them from dealing in those assets on their own account, and its sandbox covers stablecoins and payment tokens. Tax classification must be reconciled with the Nigeria Tax Administration Act 2025.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Nigeria

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Nigeria

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Nigeria?

It depends on the right you issue and each entity's functions. The ISA 2025 places digital assets under the SEC, which registers by function (issuance, offering platform, exchange, custody) with a minimum capital for each, and its ARIP route grants approvals in principle, not final licences. If the product has a payment function, the CBN sandbox comes in, and in every case so do anti-money laundering and NRS tax obligations. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to their first funding round, and established companies on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with strict compliance requirements. In every case, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Nigerian companies?

Through direct contact with the people who design and build the product, in English or in Spanish if your team prefers. Meetings are set during your working hours; the rest moves forward through shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, integrations and the level of review. Before development we agree scope, dependencies and deliverables for each phase, so you decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration, without mistaking an MVP for the complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one that fits the product requirements, not the one in fashion. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and keeps in mind who will use the product.
