We are your blockchain development company in Hungary

We build blockchain products for companies in Hungary with our in-house team, designing each project around MiCA and what the Magyar Nemzeti Bank requires today from crypto-asset service providers.

Blockchain development in Hungary, from idea to production

We take your use case to a product you can launch, operate and extend. One team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and connects them to your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Hungarian framework, from the architecture

We start from what the MNB requires: CASP authorisation, safeguards maintained throughout the activity and, since October 2026, explaining to clients the costs, timing and point at which a transfer becomes irreversible. That shapes flows, permissions and records.

  2. Smart contracts ready to audit

We write your business logic with tests and peer review, and document each contract so an external audit can examine it. We then deploy it in stages before it runs in production.

  3. In English, within your working day

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, directly with the people who design and write the code. We meet during your Budapest hours, and the rest carries on in shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation that keeps evolving

We hand over documented code with deployments and monitoring planned. Your team gets a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding new features.

Blockchain use cases in Hungary

Cases that build on controls Hungary already applies, from the wine certificate of origin to the fund that covers drought damage on farms.

    Tokaj wine origin

Every lot of Hungarian wine leaves with the final certificate of origin issued by the hegybíró and a NÉBIH marketing identifier; the record links both to the bottled batch.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Hungary

In Hungary, MiCA applies directly and Act VII of 2024 sets out its national application. The Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) authorises CASP providers, which file their applications electronically through ERA, and providers already operating had to comply by 1 July 2025. Since 7 August 2026, the additional conversion validation imposed by national law no longer exists, which does not replace MiCA authorisation.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Hungary

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Hungary

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Hungary?

MiCA and Act VII of 2024: the MNB handles CASP authorisation or, for certain financial entities, the Article 60 notification. Since 1 October 2026 it also applies conduct expectations on client assessment and on the information given about transfers. If the token is a financial instrument, it is assessed under securities rules, and AML obligations still apply. We study the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. With startups, from MVP validation to a product ready to present in a funding round; with established companies, on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with demanding compliance requirements. Either way, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Hungarian companies?

In English or Spanish, in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings fit easily into your team's working day. We work with shared documentation, decision meetings and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, how many systems need integrating and the level of review required. Before development we set the scope, dependencies and deliverables of each phase, so you can decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration. From the start, the plan separates an MVP from a complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one your product requirements call for, not the one in fashion. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and takes into account who the product is for.
