We are your blockchain development company in Ecuador

We build blockchain products for companies in Ecuador with our in-house team, knowing that crypto-assets are not an authorised means of payment there and that a VASP's registration with the UAFE is not a financial licence.

Blockchain development in Ecuador, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product you can launch, operate and grow. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and integrates them with your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Ecuadorian framework, from the architecture

In Ecuador a virtual asset service has to be separated from the outset from its use as a means of payment, which the Central Bank does not allow. If the token grants economic rights, we also start from the SCVS securities regime.

  2. Smart contracts ready for review

We code your business logic with tests and peer review, and leave the code ready for an external audit and a phased deployment before it runs in production.

  3. In Spanish, on your hours

You work in Spanish with the people who design and write the code. We set meetings within working hours in Quito or Guayaquil, and the rest moves forward through shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation to keep working on

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring. Your team inherits a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding features.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Ecuador

According to the Central Bank of Ecuador, crypto-assets are neither legal tender nor an authorised means of payment. Virtual asset service providers are obliged entities under anti-money laundering rules before the UAFE, but that registration is not a financial licence. An issuance granting economic rights is assessed under the SCVS securities regime, where a wallet does not replace registration with the clearing and settlement depository.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Ecuador

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Ecuador

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Ecuador?

Crypto-assets are not an authorised means of payment, according to the Central Bank. Anyone providing virtual asset services for third parties registers with the UAFE, appoints a compliance officer and reports suspicious transactions within five days, but that registration does not authorise payments or financial intermediation. If the token grants negotiable economic rights, the SCVS securities regime applies. We analyse the fit of your case before writing code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to their first funding round, and established companies on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with strict compliance requirements. In every case, smart contracts go through tests and review before reaching mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Ecuadorian companies?

In Spanish, dealing directly with the people who design and build the product. Meetings are set in your hours, and the rest moves forward through shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It comes down to product complexity, the number of integrations and the review it requires. Before development we set scope, dependencies and phase deliverables. That lets you decide what reaches production first and what moves to a second iteration, without treating an MVP as the final architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one that answers the product requirements, not the most popular. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. For a traceability register, the cost per entry and who can write to it also weigh in.
