We are your blockchain development company in Bolivia

We build blockchain products for companies in Bolivia with our in-house team, separating from the design stage what is software from what the Financial Technology Companies regime makes subject to an ASFI licence.

Blockchain development in Bolivia, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product you can launch, operate and maintain. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and connects them to your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Bolivian framework, from the architecture

Before choosing a network we place each function: if someone holds or exchanges assets on behalf of others, Supreme Decree 5384 requires an ASFI licence; if the token records a security, Law 1834 and its register come in.

  2. Contracts ready for external review

We write your business logic with tests and peer review between developers. The code arrives ready for an independent audit and a phased deployment before it runs in production.

  3. In Spanish, with meetings in your working day

You work in Spanish with the people who design and write the code. Decision meetings go in your working day, and between them progress is recorded in writing.

  4. A foundation your team can maintain

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring. Your team receives a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding new features.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Bolivia

Bolivia already certifies the origin of what it produces, from highland quinoa to vicuña fibre and the minerals of its cooperatives; these cases take those records to a verifiable layer.

  • Farmer seen from behind among red and orange quinoa heads on the southern highlands, Quinua Real origin with blockchain in Bolivia

    Quinua Real origin

Quinua Real del Altiplano Sur has been a protected designation of origin in Bolivia since 2002; every lot linked to the community that grew it and to its packing.

  • Vicuñas inside a communal shearing enclosure on the highlands with herders seen from behind, vicuña fibre with blockchain in Bolivia

    Vicuña fibre

Bolivia may only export fibre shorn from live vicuñas (CITES Appendix II); every lot linked to the communal shearing and to the authorisation for the origin mark.

    Blockchain for Fashion & Luxury
  • Sacks of ore stacked at the entrance of a cooperative mine on Potosí's Cerro Rico, minerals with verified origin with blockchain in Bolivia

    Minerals with verified origin

SENARECOM checks the origin, weight and grade of every mineral sale to calculate royalties (Law 535); every lot traced from the producer's NIM to the plant.

Blockchain for Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Bond issue prospectus and a stamp on a desk in La Paz with Illimani blurred in the background, book-entry securities with blockchain in Bolivia

    Book-entry securities

A book-entry security is recorded with a central securities depository; the on-chain layer mirrors issuance and transfers, and that record remains the legal one.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Bolivia

Bolivia places virtual asset services within the Financial Technology Companies regime of Supreme Decree 5384 of May 2025: ASFI grants the incorporation permit and the operating licence, and the UIF keeps the preventive register of virtual asset service providers. The Central Bank's 2024 decision to open electronic payment channels for these transactions is not a licence, and neither is appearing on the list of companies in the adaptation process.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Bolivia

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Bolivia

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Bolivia?

It depends on the function. Anyone exchanging, transferring or holding virtual assets for others falls under the Financial Technology Companies regime, with an ASFI licence, and registers with the UIF under Resolution 19/2025, as part of AML rules. If the token represents a security, the Securities Market Law 1834 applies. Building software without performing those functions is not the same as running a financial entity. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to their first round, and established companies on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with strict compliance requirements. In all of them, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Bolivian companies?

In Spanish and in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings fall within your working hours; the rest moves forward through shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, integrations and the level of review required. Before development we set scope, dependencies and phase deliverables, so you can decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration, without mistaking an MVP for the complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one the product requirements call for, not the one with the most noise. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, with the product's users in mind.
