NFT ticketing. Every entry, on your terms.

NFT ticketing lets your event verify entry and enforce the organizer's resale terms within its official channel. We custom-build the platform to issue tokenized tickets and manage attendees. Fans buy and get in as they always have, without managing a wallet.

Why now

Why move to NFT ticketing now?

Ticket resale is being regulated. In Spain, a 2025 draft law proposes capping resale markups at inflation, the UK is preparing a bill that would ban resale above the original price, and the EU already bars traders from reselling tickets bought with bots. A tokenized ticket applies those rules to every transfer within the official channel.

Platform

NFT ticketing platform with resale and access control

A ticket is sold, transferred, validated at the gate and sometimes refunded. The white label base provides your brand, buyer onboarding and a custodial wallet. Rule-based resale, gate validation, card payments, refunds and attendee perks are custom-built.

  • Primary sale and issuance

Card and familiar payment methods, with the ticket issued to the attendee's account as soon as payment clears.

  • Embedded wallet and recovery

Email or phone sign-in, ticket custody and access recovery when an attendee loses or changes their phone.

  • Rule-based official resale

Transfers and resales inside the organizer's channel, with a price cap, time windows and a per-account limit.

  • Gate validation

Dynamic QR or NFC that marks the ticket as used, with offline mode and duplicate checks at every entry point.

  • Attendee relationship

Content, presales and perks for people who attended, unlocked by the ticket and with the attendee's explicit consent.

  • Organizer back office

Capacity, tiers, cancellations, refunds and resales in one console, with reports you can export by event and session.

Institutional custody, integrated

We integrate custody and key management providers through their APIs, including Fireblocks, BitGo, Coinbase Prime, Anchorage Digital, Copper and Ledger Enterprise. Depending on the provider and model, keys are managed with MPC or multisig so that none depends on a single device. If the token is a security, custody on behalf of clients is provided by an authorized entity.

Structure

Tokenized tickets, season passes and memberships

A right of entry, not an investment. The token proves its holder may attend the event under the organizer's conditions, and transferring it only transfers the ticket if those conditions recognize the transfer.

If the token promises income or appreciation, the legal analysis becomes that of an investment. We design it to prove entry and its perks, with no economic rights.

Methodology

How we build NFT ticketing, step by step

In ticketing, the event calendar sets the pace. A ticket, a season pass, a membership or an experience follows four phases, from the access right the token represents to the public sale, and the sales window sets the deadlines for the legal and technical work.

  1. We study capacity, pricing, resale policy and the audience, and define what the token proves, a ticket, a pass, a membership or an experience, with no economic rights. The output is the sales sheet, with prices, per-buyer limits and resale fees.

  2. The law firm checks whether the token is unique and falls outside MiCA or, if it is issued in series, whether it is a utility token and the offer is exempt because the service already exists. It also reviews consumer and resale rules in each market.

  3. We start from our white label platform for your brand and domain, buyer onboarding with verified identity and the management console, adapted to the organizer. Everything specific to ticketing is custom-built, from ERC-1155 contracts with one identifier per ticket to rule-based resale, the attendee app and gate validation.

  4. The sale combines past attendees with digital campaigns, and every purchase goes through the checks the organizer sets. During the sale and at the event, your team and ours run resale, gate entry and refunds together.

Assets

Which tickets and experiences can be tokenized?

Any entry with a date, a capacity and clear conditions, from a concert to a season pass. The organizer's resale policy shapes the design more than anything else.

  1. Music and live shows

Concerts, festivals, theater, galas and multi-day passes.

  2. Sports

Games, tournaments, races, season tickets and hospitality.

  3. Arts and culture

Museums, exhibitions, fairs and guided tours with time slots.

  4. Travel and dining

Tours, special reservations, cruises and culinary experiences.

  5. VIP and membership

Backstage, artist meet-and-greets, upgrades and recurring access.

  6. Corporate

Conferences, credentials and proof of attendance at events.

Regulation

Which regulation applies to NFT tickets and resale?

Check the regulation by country

Consumer protection and the resale rules of each market. A tokenized ticket is still an access contract, and price, fees, cancellation and refunds must be clear before payment.

The terms of sale come before the contract. Who gets the refund if a pass changed hands, what resale costs and which attendee data is collected are settled with your law firm before the first deployment.

Directive (EU) 2019/2161 made it an unfair practice for a trader to resell tickets bought with automated means that bypass purchase limits. Price caps depend on each country. In July 2025 Spain's government approved at first reading a draft law that would ban resale at a markup above inflation since purchase, and in May 2026 the UK government announced a draft bill, not yet introduced, that would ban resale above the original price. The contract's resale rules are configured per market.

A ticket that only grants entry is not a financial instrument. A genuinely unique and non-fungible ticket may fall outside MiCA, but same-tier tickets issued in series usually qualify as utility tokens. If the service already exists or is in operation, the offer falls outside Title II, with no white paper (Art. 4.3.c), unless admission to trading is announced (Art. 4.4). If the supervisor treats the edition as a future service, a white paper is needed and the offer cannot run for more than 12 months (Art. 4.6). If the token promises income, the analysis changes. Data that identifies attendees is handled under the GDPR and kept off-chain.

FAQ

NFT ticketing FAQ

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. What is an NFT ticket and how is it different from a regular digital ticket?

In NFT ticketing, each ticket is issued as an NFT on a blockchain network, with a unique identifier and a verifiable transfer history. Unlike a PDF or a static QR code, the contract applies the organizer's resale rules and marks the ticket as used at entry.

  2. Does the attendee need a wallet to buy or get in?

No. We integrate email or phone accounts, card payments and access recovery. The wallet runs in the background, and buying or getting in feels like any other ticketing app. If the organizer allows it, attendees can move the ticket to their own wallet.

  3. Does a tokenized ticket eliminate scalping and fraud?

It reduces them inside the official channel, because every transfer goes through the contract's rules. It cannot stop sales outside that channel, from a fake website or with a stolen account, so channel control, proportionate identity checks and support are still needed.

  4. Can the organizer take a percentage of each resale?

It can set one on its official resale channel, within what consumer law allows in each market. Outside the controlled channel, a royalty standard such as ERC-2981 only signals the percentage, and applying it is up to each secondary marketplace.

  5. What happens to the ticket if the event is canceled?

The contract invalidates entry and records the refund, but the payment is reconciled with the payment provider that collected it. If the current holder is not the original buyer, the terms of sale decide who receives the refund, and the platform applies that rule.
