We are your blockchain development company in the Dominican Republic

We build blockchain products for companies in the Dominican Republic with our in-house team, starting from what its framework does define: the restrictions of the SIPARD payments regulation and SIMV authorisation to issue securities.

Blockchain development in the Dominican Republic, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product you can launch, operate and grow. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and integrates them with your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Dominican framework, from the architecture

Before choosing a network we classify the operator: payment provider, securities issuer or another role. The SIPARD regulation bars seven categories of payment providers from offering virtual asset products, so we design registers and traceability, not payments.

  2. Smart contracts ready for audit

We write your business logic with tests and peer review, and leave the code ready for an external audit and a gradual deployment before it runs in production.

  3. In Spanish and on your time

You work in Spanish with the people who design and write the code. Meetings are set whenever suits your team within its working day, and the rest stays in shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation that can keep evolving

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring. Your team has a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding new features.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in the Dominican Republic

Registry and traceability cases that start from controls the country already applies, from the INTABACO letter needed to export tobacco to the title certificate of each property.

    Premium cigars

Exporting tobacco and its products requires an official INTABACO letter, and the country sold US$1,359 million abroad in 2025; each box is linked to its factory and that letter.

The 858 free zone companies exported US$8,548.6 million in 2025, 54% of goods exports; every load enters and leaves through gates controlled by Customs.

Law 108-05 makes the Title Certificate the official, state-guaranteed document proving the real right; the on-chain layer reflects it without replacing it.

Blockchain regulatory framework in the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic has no general licence for virtual asset service providers. The Payment System regulation (SIPARD), published in October 2025, bars seven categories of payment providers, including digital wallet providers, from offering products based on virtual assets. A securities issuance needs SIMV authorisation and book entry in a central depository under Law 249-17.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Dominican Republic

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Dominican Republic

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in the Dominican Republic?

It depends on the operator's category. Payment system administrators, electronic payment entities, acquirers and digital wallet providers, among others, are barred by the SIPARD regulation from offering virtual asset products. A securities offering requires SIMV authorisation and book entry in a central depository, and the anti-money laundering duties of Law 155-17 depend on the activity. There is no general VASP licence. We analyse the fit of your case before writing code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to their first funding round, and established companies on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with strict compliance requirements. On any project, smart contracts go through tests and review before reaching mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Dominican companies?

In Spanish and in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Decision meetings go in your business hours, and the rest moves forward through shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, the integrations it needs and the level of review required. Before development we settle scope, dependencies and phase deliverables, so you decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration, without treating an MVP as the final architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one the product requirements call for, not the one in fashion. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. For a traceability register, the cost per entry and who has permission to write also weigh in.
