We are your blockchain development company in Mexico

We build blockchain products for companies in Mexico with our in-house team, separating from the design stage Banxico's restrictions on banks and fintech institutions from the anti-money laundering duties that other providers take on.

Blockchain development in Mexico, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product you can launch, operate and grow. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and integrates them with your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Mexican framework, from the architecture

Before choosing a network we assign each function to an entity: who issues, who receives the funds, who holds custody and how the right is transferred. That map decides whether the Fintech Law, the Securities Market Law or the AML regime comes into play.

  2. Smart contracts ready for review

We write your business logic with tests and peer review, and prepare the code for an external audit and a phased deployment before it runs in production.

  3. In Spanish and on your schedule

You work in Spanish with the people who design and write the code. Meetings are placed within your working hours, and the rest moves forward through shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation ready to grow

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring. Your team receives a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding features.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Mexico

Cases that start from controls Mexico already requires, from the registered agave field behind tequila to each maquiladora's inventory.

  • Jimador seen from behind trimming the leaves of a blue agave in a Jalisco field, tequila agave traceability with blockchain in Mexico

    Tequila agave

NOM-006 requires every agave field to be entered in a plantation register and every tequila export to travel with its certificate; each batch is linked to both.

    Electronic promissory notes

    Maquiladora inventory

IMMEX companies prove the return of every temporarily imported material through the Annex 24 inventory control; each batch is linked to its entry and exit customs declarations.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Mexico

Mexico has no single licence for blockchain projects. Banxico's Circular 4/2019 limits what banks and ITFs may do with virtual assets; other exchange or custody providers fall under the anti-money laundering regime as a vulnerable activity, which is not a financial authorisation. If the token is a security, the Securities Market Law applies. Agreement 115/2026 comes into force on 30 November 2026, with staggered deadlines that run to 2028.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Mexico

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Mexico

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Mexico?

It depends on the function. Banks and ITFs may only carry out the internal virtual asset operations Banxico authorises; anyone offering exchange, custody or transfer without being a financial entity registers as a vulnerable activity under AML rules, and since the 2025 reform that also covers serving Mexican citizens from another jurisdiction. If the token is a security, the Securities Market Law applies. We analyse the fit of your case before writing code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to their first round, and established companies on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with strict compliance requirements. Smart contracts go through tests and review before reaching mainnet on every project.

  3. How do you work with Mexican companies?

In Spanish and in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings follow your schedule, and the rest moves forward through shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It comes down to product complexity, integrations and the level of review required. Before development we set scope, dependencies and phase deliverables, so you can decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration, without mistaking an MVP for the complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one the product requirements call for, not the trend of the moment. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and starts from who will use the product.
