We are your blockchain development company in Oman

We build blockchain products for companies in Oman with our in-house team, starting from the fact that virtual asset service provider registration with the FSA does not replace payment permissions or the securities regime.

Blockchain development in Oman, from idea to production

We take your use case to a product you can launch, operate and extend. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and connects them to your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Omani framework, from the architecture

We separate anti-money laundering registration from authorisation of the product: a VASP service registers with the FSA, a payment with virtual assets needs the Central Bank and a securities token follows the 2026 regulation.

  2. Smart contracts ready for review

We build your business logic with tests and peer review, and prepare the code for an external audit and a progressive deployment before going into production.

  3. In English, during your working hours

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, with the people who design and write the code. Meetings are fitted to your working day, and between them the work continues through shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation that can keep evolving

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring, so your team can maintain the product and add features on a foundation it knows.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Oman

Oman auctions land for green hydrogen, certifies every catch it exports to Europe and requires data on every transfer; these cases start there.

    Green hydrogen in Duqm

Hydrom awards public land for green hydrogen by auction, with two blocks in Duqm in June 2023; every kilogram produced can carry its wind or solar origin.

    Fish catch certificates

For fish exports to the EU, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources issues the catch certificate and requires a quality control number; each batch keeps it.

    Data on every transfer

Decision E/35/2023 requires every virtual asset transfer to carry originator and beneficiary data and forbids sending it afterwards; the flow checks it before executing the transfer.

    Units in a regulatory sandbox

The securities regulation in force since 27 July 2026 allows innovative activities to be authorised in a sandbox; a DLT register of fund or company units needs that specific permission.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Oman

In Oman, the Financial Services Authority (FSA), which took over the functions of the Capital Market Authority in 2024, requires virtual asset service providers to register, with anti-money laundering controls, under Decision E/35/2023. That registration does not replace Central Bank (CBO) approval for using virtual assets in payments, nor the securities regime, which Decision E/11/2026 has applied since July 2026. The comprehensive VARF framework consulted on in 2023 has not been shown to be approved.

Milestones enabling blockchain in Oman

Three dates: the provider registration already in force, a 2023 consultation whose comprehensive framework has not been shown to be approved and the securities regulation in force since July 2026. Each milestone links to its source.

  1. VASP instructions issued

Decision E/35/2023 establishes registration and AML controls; its text provides for application from issuance.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Oman

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Oman

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Oman?

Decision E/35/2023 requires anyone providing virtual asset exchange, transfers, custody or issuance-related services in Oman to register with the FSA, with customer identification, risk assessment and a licensed local bank; the FSA decides within thirty days of the information being complete, and silence means rejection. Using virtual assets in payments requires Central Bank approval, and a token representing securities is assessed under the 2026 securities regulation. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to a product they can present in a funding round, and established companies on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with strict compliance requirements. In every case, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Omani companies?

In English or in Spanish if your team prefers, in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Decision meetings take place on your schedule, and the work moves forward through shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, integrations and the level of review required. Before development we agree scope, dependencies and deliverables for each phase, so you decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration, without treating an MVP as if it were the complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

We do not choose a network because it is trending. For EVM projects we assess Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. In Oman it also matters that the rules do not accept the chain as the only archive: records are kept separately. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations.
