Stablecoin payments

How can a business accept stablecoin payments?

With a checkout that creates the order, an address or contract that receives the stablecoin and a service that confirms the transaction on the network and matches it in your ERP. When the customer pays from dollars or euros, a regulated on-ramp provider handles conversion and KYC before the funds arrive.

What's included

What our stablecoin payment gateway development includes.

Receiving funds on-chain is the easy part. What turns a pilot into a payment system is conversion, reconciliation and what happens when a payment arrives wrong.

  • Checkout and gateway

Payment pages, links and an API that create each order and detect its confirmation on-chain.

  • On-ramp and off-ramp

We integrate regulated providers to move from fiat to stablecoin and back, with their KYC.

  • Collection wallets

A deposit address per order and treasury wallets under multisig or regulated custody.

  • ERP reconciliation

Every payment with its hash, amount and order, exported to your ERP and your books.

  • AML controls

Address screening, per-customer limits and travel rule data when the transfer requires it.

  • Exceptions and refunds

Alerts for partial, late or wrong-network payments, with a refund flow back to the customer.

Treasury decision

Hold the stablecoin or convert to fiat?

It is the decision that shapes the gateway. Holding the stablecoin keeps the payment on-chain and available at once. Converting instantly keeps your treasury in fiat, at the cost of relying on the off-ramp for every payment.

CriterionHold stablecoinConvert to fiatHybrid model
What your treasury receivesThe stablecoin, in your own wallet or under custody.Dollars or euros in your bank account, via off-ramp.A share in stablecoin and the rest in fiat.
Main riskIssuer risk, plus FX risk outside your currency.Off-ramp hours and fees on every payment.A split rule that has to be governed.
ReconciliationEach payment is an on-chain transaction with its hash. Two records, on-chain and bank, to match. Both records plus the documented split rule.
Typical fitPaying suppliers that already settle in stablecoin.Merchants that only want fiat in their account.Treasuries paying and collecting in several currencies.

Before holding a stablecoin, check its issuer's status under the GENIUS Act in the US or as an e-money token issuer under MiCA in the EU.

Methodology

How we build your payment system.

Four phases, each with a concrete deliverable. We set networks, currencies and treasury rules before writing code, and no payment flow reaches production without testing its exceptions.

  1. An RFC with the path of every payment, the networks and stablecoins accepted and what stays off-chain.

GitHub RFC with the sequence diagram of a milestone payment using an ERC-20 token
  2. Screens where the customer sees amount, network and fee before signing, and the confirmation after.

Figma screens for a stablecoin app with a portfolio, a USDC to ETH swap and confirmation
  3. Solidity payment contracts, the service that watches the network and the link to your on-ramp and ERP.

Solidity ERC-20 contract that only transfers to verified addresses, open in VS Code
  4. Every payment case tested with Foundry, Slither analysis and a testnet pilot before mainnet.

Passing Foundry tests and a clean Slither analysis in the VS Code terminal
Use cases

Where we apply stablecoin payments.

Stablecoin payments fit where bank rails close, lag or cost too much, especially across borders and between machines.

Security

Security in stablecoin payments

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Stablecoin payment questions

The customer sends a stablecoin such as USDC from a wallet to an address your gateway generates for that order. The transfer settles on the network once its block is confirmed. Your system then detects it, matches it to the order and keeps or converts the funds according to your treasury policy.

It has four parts. Order and address generation, a service that watches the network for incoming transfers, reconciliation with your ledger or ERP, and on-ramp and off-ramp through regulated providers. Before launch we add refunds, address screening and alerts for underpaid or wrong-network payments.

Usually through an authorized stablecoin issuer, with custody, compliance screening and ledger integration on the bank's side. The bank offers stablecoin collections or payouts in its own channels while its core system records each on-chain transaction. The issuer's regulatory status is the first thing to check.

Yes, in the main markets. In the US, the GENIUS Act, signed in July 2025, requires payment stablecoins to be fully backed by liquid reserves with monthly disclosure. In the EU, MiCA treats them as e-money tokens that only authorized credit or e-money institutions may issue.
