We are your blockchain development company in Ireland

We build blockchain products for companies in Ireland with our in-house team, designing each project around MiCA, the Central Bank of Ireland as supervisor and a consumer protection code that also reaches MiCA activity.

Blockchain development in Ireland, from idea to production

We take your use case to a product you can launch, operate and extend. One team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and connects them to your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Irish framework, from the architecture

We design for Central Bank CASP authorisation, which the former VASP registration does not replace. We separate EMT payments, which may need a payments permission of their own, and build the consumer protection code into onboarding and client information.

  2. Contracts ready for an audit

We write your business logic with tests and peer review. Every contract is documented and prepared for an external audit, then deployed in stages before it runs in production.

  3. In English and in your hours

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, directly with the people who design and write the code. Meetings follow your working day in Dublin, and day-to-day work moves forward in shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation built to grow

We hand over documented code with deployments and monitoring planned. Your team gets a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding new features.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Ireland

Cases that build on records and figures Ireland already publishes, from the code on every medicine pack to the share of the grid used by data centres.

  • Office buildings along the River Liffey in Dublin's Docklands in the early morning with pedestrians seen from behind, fund units with blockchain in Ireland

    Fund units

The Central Bank authorises UCITS and AIF funds domiciled in Ireland, and in March 2026 opened a discussion on tokenization (Discussion Paper 12); the record keeps each unit.

  • Medicine packs moving along a packaging line in an Irish pharmaceutical plant with an operator seen from behind, medicine serialisation with blockchain in Ireland

    Medicine serialisation

Since February 2019, most prescription medicines carry a 2D code with product, batch, expiry date and serial number, checked before dispensing; the record follows each serial number.

    Blockchain for Pharma
  • Data centre hall with rooftop cooling units on the outskirts of Dublin and a technician seen from behind, data centre consumption with blockchain in Ireland

    Data centre consumption

Data centres used 23% of Ireland's metered electricity in 2025, up from 5% in 2015; the record matches each hour of consumption with contracted renewable supply.

    Blockchain for Energy & Sustainability
  • Row of Georgian brick houses with coloured doors in Dublin and a tenant seen from behind carrying a moving box, registered tenancies with blockchain in Ireland

    Registered tenancies

Every private tenancy is registered each year with the RTB, whose national register counted 243,598 in 2025; the digital contract links rent and deposit to that registration.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Ireland

In Ireland, MiCA has applied with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) as national authority since November 2024. The transition for the former VASP registration ended on 30 December 2025, and that registration, an AML procedure, gives no access to a simplified CASP authorisation; since April 2026 applications go through the CBI portal. The revised consumer protection code and payments rules may add obligations, and a token that is a financial instrument follows securities or funds rules.

  2. MiCA service rules apply

  3. Statutory VASP transition deadline

Regulation 20 of S.I. 607/2024 sets 30 December 2025, or an earlier authorisation or refusal decision. General references to the end of December do not extend that statutory deadline.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Ireland

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Ireland

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Ireland?

MiCA governs crypto-asset issuance and services, with the Central Bank of Ireland as supervisor: providing services requires CASP authorisation, the Article 60 notification or a passport from another Member State. EMT payments may require a payments permission, and the revised consumer protection code has applied since March 2026. AML obligations also apply and, if the token is a financial instrument, so do securities or funds rules. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. With startups we work from MVP validation to a product ready to show in a funding round; with established companies, on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with demanding compliance requirements. Either way, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Irish companies?

In English or Spanish, in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings fit within your working hours. Shared documentation, decision meetings and a stable technical channel keep the work organised.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, how many systems need integrating and the level of review required. Before development we set the scope, dependencies and deliverables of each phase, so you can decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration. From the start, the plan separates an MVP from a complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one your product requirements call for, not the one in fashion. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and takes into account who the product is for.
