A hotel can sell nights in advance as utility tokens: Law 24/2022 exempts issuances of up to two million euros from AFA authorization, without removing registration or documentation.

Andorra is not part of the EU and regulates the digital representation of assets through its own Law 24/2022, supervised by the Andorran Financial Authority (AFA). The AFA authorizes and registers each participant per service, and when custody and trading are combined they are processed separately. Issuances follow their own regime depending on the asset and the offer. An Andorran authorization is not a MiCA authorization and gives no access to the European Union market.

Anyone providing custody, receiving and transmitting orders or trading needs AFA authorization and registration, and the application is filed through a digital overseer. Issuances have their own procedure, with exceptions such as issuances of up to two million euros, which keep registration and documentation duties. If the product is offered outside the Principality, that market must be assessed too. We analyze the fit of your case before writing any code.
