We are your blockchain development company in Cyprus

We build blockchain products for companies in Cyprus with our in-house team, separating from the design stage what CySEC authorises from what, with e-money tokens, may also involve the Central Bank of Cyprus.

Blockchain development in Cyprus, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product you can launch, operate and extend. One team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and integrates them with your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Cypriot framework, from the architecture

Before writing contracts we map who holds the keys and who moves the funds. CySEC authorises crypto-asset services, and holding or transferring EMTs on behalf of clients may also require a payment services authorisation.

  2. Contracts prepared for review

Business logic arrives with tests and peer review. We document every contract so an external auditor can review it, and deploy it in stages before it runs in production.

  3. In English and within your working day

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, with the people who design and write the code. Meetings are set within your working day, and the rest is shared in writing.

  4. A foundation that can keep growing

We hand over documented code with deployments and monitoring planned. Your team starts from a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding features.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Cyprus

Cases that build on records Cyprus already keeps, from halloumi PDO certification to the deposit of property sale contracts.

  • Freshly folded pieces of halloumi with mint leaves on a steel table in a Cypriot dairy, halloumi PDO traceability with blockchain in Cyprus

    Halloumi PDO

Only a Cypriot dairy registered in the control system with a valid certificate may use the PDO; the record ties each batch to that dairy and to its share of sheep's and goat's milk.

  • Bulk carrier at anchor off Limassol port and an inspector seen from behind holding a folder on the quay, ship certificates with blockchain in Cyprus

    Ship certificates

Cypriot ship managers run fleets for third parties: every vessel, with its provisional, permanent or parallel registration and its valid certificates.

  • Newly completed apartment block with white balconies on the outskirts of Limassol, property sale contracts with blockchain in Cyprus

    Property sale contracts

The buyer deposits the contract with the Department of Lands and Surveys within six months of signing; the record follows each payment until the title is transferred.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Cyprus

In Cyprus, MiCA applies directly and CySEC handles CASP authorisation. The Central Bank of Cyprus comes in when holding or transferring EMTs on behalf of clients is a payment service, because MiCA authorisation does not replace payment services authorisation. Since 1 July 2026, the former national register no longer allows firms to keep operating, and an infrastructure for tokenized securities also needs the specific DLT pilot permission.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Cyprus

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Cyprus

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Cyprus?

MiCA governs crypto-asset issuance and services; CySEC authorises CASPs, and certain financial entities use the Article 60 route. If the product holds or transfers e-money tokens, the Central Bank of Cyprus requires an assessment of whether it is a payment service. A token that is a financial instrument stays under securities rules, and transfers carry originator and beneficiary information. We study the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. With startups we work from MVP validation to a product they can present in a funding round; with established companies, on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with demanding compliance requirements. Either way, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Cypriot companies?

In English or Spanish, in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings fit easily within your working hours, and the work is organised through shared documentation, decision meetings and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, the systems that need integrating and the level of review required. Before development we set the scope, dependencies and deliverables of each phase, so you can decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration. From the start, the plan separates an MVP from a complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

The one your product requirements call for. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and takes into account who will use the product.
