We are your blockchain development company in Honduras

We build blockchain products for companies in Honduras with our in-house team, and before designing we check whether the flow involves an entity supervised by the CNBS, which since 2024 has been barred from operating with virtual assets not authorised by the Central Bank.

Blockchain development in Honduras, from idea to production

We turn your use case into a product you can launch, operate and sustain. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and integrates them with your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Honduran framework, from the architecture

The CNBS restriction covers banks and other supervised entities, and what their clients do on their platforms. So we first map who receives funds, who holds assets and which financial infrastructure each step depends on.

  2. Contracts prepared for audit

We build your business logic with tests and peer review. The code is delivered ready for an external audit and a staged deployment before it runs in production.

  3. In Spanish, in your hours

You work in Spanish with the people who design and write the code. We set meetings within your working day in Tegucigalpa or San Pedro Sula, and everything else is kept in writing, in shared documentation and a stable technical channel.

  4. A foundation that can keep growing

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring. Your team gets a technical foundation for maintaining the product and adding features.

Blockchain use cases in Honduras

Record-keeping and traceability cases, with no virtual assets involved, built on what Honduras produces and exports, from coffee and garments to palm oil, and on the lobster of its Caribbean coast.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Honduras

Since February 2024, the CNBS has prohibited the institutions it supervises from holding, investing in, intermediating or operating with virtual assets not issued or authorised by the Central Bank, and from letting their clients do so on their platforms. Outside that perimeter there is no general licensing route for virtual asset service providers, and the Financial Innovation Hub offers guidance but grants no permits. Neither amounts to a ban on using blockchain.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Honduras

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Honduras

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Honduras?

CNBS Resolution GEE 069/09-02-2024 bars supervised institutions from operating with virtual assets not issued or authorised by the BCH, including products with returns linked to them. It does not fully regulate non-supervised companies, but there is no general VASP licence for them either. If the token grants negotiable rights, the Securities Market Law comes in; electronic money has its own framework. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to their first round, and established companies on traceability, digital identity and tokenization projects with strict compliance requirements. In every case, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Honduran companies?

In Spanish and in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings go in your working hours, and the rest of the work moves forward through shared documentation, written decisions and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

It depends on product complexity, the number of integrations and the level of review required. Before development we define scope, dependencies and phase deliverables. That lets you decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration, without mistaking an MVP for the complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

We do not choose it by trend. For EVM projects we compare Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations, and follows the requirements of the product and its users.
