We are your blockchain development company in Qatar

We build blockchain products for companies in Qatar with our in-house team, starting from the Qatar Financial Centre framework, which gives legal effect to tokens representing rights and excludes cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.

Blockchain development in Qatar, from idea to production

We take your use case to a product that can be launched, operated and extended. The same team designs the architecture, writes the contracts and connects them to your systems.

Tell us what you want to build
  1. The Qatari framework, from the architecture

We first check that the right fits the QFC framework and who validates, generates, holds in custody and transfers it. The design covers what happens if a key is lost and leaves out cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, which the framework excludes.

  2. Smart contracts ready for review

We build your business logic with tests and peer review, and prepare the code for an external audit and a progressive deployment before going into production.

  3. In English and within your working day

You work in English, or in Spanish if your team prefers, with the people who design and write the code, with meetings inside your working day and follow-up in writing.

  4. A foundation that can keep growing

We document the code and plan deployments and monitoring, so your team can maintain the product and add features on a foundation it understands.

Use cases

Blockchain use cases in Qatar

In the QFC, transferring a permitted token transfers the right it represents, and Qatar already certifies how its buildings are built; these cases start there.

  • Pale stone buildings with shaded arcades in Msheireb, Doha, tokenized property rights with blockchain in Qatar

    Tokenized property rights

In the QFC, owning a permitted token confers the right it represents, after a certificate validates the owner; if the property lies outside the centre, its registry governs.

    Blockchain for Real Estate
  • Bound issuance document with an embossed seal on a wooden desk in Doha, tokenized securities with blockchain in Qatar

    Designated tokenized securities

Trading and settling Investment Tokens in the QFC requires permitted tokens and a designation published by the QFCRA; holding their keys can be regulated custody.

    Blockchain for Banking & Finance
  • Engineer seen from behind checking the lattice facade of a newly completed office building in Lusail, GSAS certification with blockchain in Qatar

    GSAS-certified buildings

Since 2010, Qatar's construction specifications (QCS) have required GSAS certification; each design, construction or operations certificate stays linked to its evidence.

    Blockchain for Energy & Sustainability
  • Lawyer seen from behind carrying a document box in the stone entrance hall of a courthouse in Doha, recovering lost tokens with blockchain in Qatar

    Recovering lost tokens

If the owner loses the means to transfer a token, they can ask the QFC Court to cancel it; the design plans for that route and for proof of ownership.

Blockchain regulatory framework in Qatar

The route to tokenization in Qatar runs through the Qatar Financial Centre: its Digital Asset Regulations, in force since 1 September 2024, recognise tokens representing rights and treat cryptocurrencies and stablecoins as excluded tokens. The QFCA licenses token services and the QFCRA authorises regulated financial activities. Outside the centre, the Central Bank (QCB) and the QFMA have their own powers, and a QFC licence does not by itself open the rest of the Qatari market.

Security

Security in blockchain development in Qatar

Every delivery goes through the same checklist before it reaches mainnet. What changes between projects is the depth of each control, because an MVP does not carry the same risk as a contract that holds third-party funds.

Before mainnet

  • Roles and permissions defined for every critical function
  • Unit and invariant tests, and fuzzing on the logic that moves value
  • Static analysis and peer review of every change
  • Multisig and timelock on administration when the risk justifies it
  • Custody and rotation of the deployment keys agreed
  • External audit when the value at risk requires it

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about blockchain development in Qatar

What we are asked before a project starts.

Talk to our team
  1. Which regulations apply to a blockchain project in Qatar?

Inside the QFC, the 2024 Digital Asset Regulations and, for financial rights, the Investment Token Rules. Each service (validation, generation, custody, market or transfers) needs a QFCA licence, plus QFCRA authorisation if it is a regulated financial activity. Validation, in this regime, means establishing who owns the right, not running a node. Cryptocurrencies and stablecoins are excluded, and outside the centre the QCB and the QFMA must be assessed. We analyse the fit of your case before writing any code.

  2. Do you work with both startups and established companies?

Yes. We support startups from MVP validation to a product they can take into a funding round, and established companies on tokenization, traceability and digital identity projects with strict compliance requirements. In every case, smart contracts go through tests and review before they reach mainnet.

  3. How do you work with Qatari companies?

In English or in Spanish if your team prefers, in direct contact with the people who design and build the product. Meetings are placed in your hours, and the work moves forward through shared documentation, decision meetings and a stable technical channel.

  4. How long does blockchain development take?

Timing depends on product complexity, integrations and the level of review required. Before development we define scope, dependencies and deliverables for each phase, so you can decide what reaches production first and what waits for a second iteration, without mistaking an MVP for a complete architecture.

  5. Which blockchain network is right for my project?

We do not pick it by trend. For EVM projects we assess Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base on finality, costs, tooling, interoperability, custody and compliance, and we consider non-EVM networks when they fit better. In the QFC, how control over the power to transfer the token is held also matters, because ownership depends on it. The recommendation covers contracts, indexing, wallets and operations.
