MiCA lists services such as custody, trading-platform operation, exchange, order execution and crypto-asset advice. Entitlement must match the services actually provided.
Article 59 establishes access routes and Article 60 conditions for certain already-regulated financial entities. Not every entitled provider therefore requires a new CASP license through the same procedure.
Cross-border rights and obligations depend on entitlement and activity. Article 143 transitional arrangements were temporary exceptions for previously active operators rather than permanent authorization.
