Top Hedera development companies: how to choose
Compare Metlabs, ioBuilders and LimeChain for Hedera development: RWA tokenization, issuance roles, corporate actions and operational integration.

Issuing an asset is only part of a Hedera tokenization project. An issuer needs to assign operational authority, prepare payments to holders and handle an operator losing access. Choosing a development company means examining these tasks and their integration with asset management outside the network.
This Metlabs commercial selection compares our application approach, ioBuilders’ contribution to tokenization tools and LimeChain’s Hedera tooling work. These references have different scopes and do not form an independent quality or price ranking. The existence of a tool does not establish every component of a finished product.
Turn token functions into issuer tasks
Asset Tokenization Studio provides an open toolkit for tokenization. Its roles and permissions documentation distinguishes administration, issuance and corporate actions. This supports concrete questions about who can act and which changes need authorisation.
A proposal should translate these functions into issuer staff tasks. Technical controls alone do not establish the represented right or a product’s legal requirements. Our Hedera technology page expands the technical context; tokenization scope should connect that design with asset documentation, custody and integrations.
Metlabs: design the operations around an asset
Our blockchain development approach starts with the journey each participant must complete. For Hedera issuance, the budget should identify investor screens, issuer administration and external systems verifying information or executing payments. Authorisations should be testable through users with different responsibilities.
Consider an instrument with periodic payments. Before paying, the product needs to establish which holder record applies and how each instruction is reconciled. A holder might change accounts or a payment service might return an error. The demonstration should allow operations to resume without duplicate payment while retaining a record of what happened.
Ask Metlabs for evidence of the proposed team, journey tests and access recovery documentation. Separate adaptation of existing components, custom development and maintenance. The client needs to know what remains available after switching suppliers, including operating records and permission administration procedures.
ioBuilders: contribution to tokenization tools
Hedera documents ioBuilders’ work on Asset Tokenization Studio. This provides a specific reference for assessing its toolkit knowledge. Its corporate website also presents services and Asseto, a platform for tokenized financial instruments; the proposal should distinguish the two products.
Request which components are reused, which are adapted and what licensing or service terms apply. Ask the assigned team to demonstrate administration and asset operations. A toolkit contribution allows examination of specific work but does not establish availability, scope or contractual terms by itself.
LimeChain: Hedera tooling and integration
LimeChain publishes Hedera tooling references including SDK, JSON-RPC relay and local environment work, alongside Hedera Token Service contributions. This establishes a profile in engineering used by other teams to integrate and test operations.
For an RWA engagement, request references matching the actual scope: a tool, integration or issuer product. Public infrastructure work alone does not demonstrate a delivered RWA platform. Where the proposal includes those tools, agree supported versions, reproducible tests and responsibility for maintaining the dependent application.
Assessing a Hedera tokenization delivery
A useful demonstration covers issuance, administration and a subsequent asset operation. It should let the client trace an incident without relying on a verbal explanation from the supplier.
- Permissions: who assigns, revokes and uses each function, with change records.
- Issuance: authorisation, product-specific limits and register reconciliation.
- Periodic payment: record date, recipients, failures and duplicate prevention.
- Continuity: access recovery, upgrades and operating documentation handover.
Our general blockchain development company guide completes commercial assessment. A Hedera team should demonstrate how asset functions become operations that an issuer can administer and maintain.
