Provider guide
Top XRP Ledger development companies: how to choose
Compare Metlabs, Peersyst and Zoniqx for XRP Ledger RWA tokenization: issued assets, custom integration and platforms with distinct delivery scopes.

Hiring an RWA development team for XRP Ledger requires identifying the issued asset, its conditions and the system connecting it to its issuer. XRP is the network’s native asset; an issued token represents a different relationship and may depend on external redemption, custody or administration processes. Comparing providers means distinguishing those responsibilities.
This Metlabs commercial selection brings together our integration approach, Peersyst’s engineering and Zoniqx’s tokenization offering. Publicly documented scope supports each inclusion; this is not an independent quality or price ranking. A platform and a custom development engagement should be compared by components and delivery terms.
Specify the asset, network and delivery scope
XRP Ledger token documentation describes issued assets and network-specific mechanisms. A proposal should identify its asset type, how the issuer is identified and which functions are available in the chosen environment. A token name alone establishes neither identity nor the conditions a recipient accepts.
Our XRP Ledger technology page distinguishes native functions from sidechains. If a proposal uses EVM contracts, request the execution network and dependencies: this differs from operating directly on XRPL. For tokenization, that choice should accompany the documented right against the issuer and the procedure for moving into and out of the asset.
Metlabs: connect issuance and reconciliation
Our blockchain development approach covers the application and integrations needed to track each operation. For XRPL, the proposal should identify accounts, authorisations, transaction references and states consumed by client systems. Operations needs to know whether a request is pending, validated or requires intervention.
Consider an issuer accepting a subscription order and later receiving a redemption request. The demonstration should link the request to the correct asset, verify authorisation and reconcile money delivery through the agreed payment method. A validated network transfer alone does not establish completion of the issuer’s external payment.
Ask Metlabs to demonstrate both journeys and a retry following an interruption. The proposal should explain retained states, duplicate instruction prevention and which custody or participant verification responsibilities belong to third parties. Request team evidence and an integration maintenance plan under the same requirements applied to other candidates.
Peersyst: ecosystem engineering and products
Peersyst presents blockchain engineering, tokenization services and a reference for work on XRPL EVM Sidechain. This combination provides a basis for examining specialist development and integration. Assess the sidechain reference as work on a distinct network; it does not automatically establish scope for native XRPL issuance.
Request which components the team will build, which dependencies it will reuse and how code and documentation will be delivered. For issuance, ask for a demonstration in the proposed environment covering administration and operational recovery. A protocol reference provides technical context, while the proposal still needs to demonstrate the contracted product journey.
Zoniqx: tokenization platform and integration
Zoniqx announced a Ripple collaboration in February 2024 to integrate its tokenization offering with XRP Ledger. This provides a specific reference for assessing a platform-based solution. The announcement does not establish that every current component is available in every XRPL environment.
Request a current inventory covering issuance, administration, transfer rules and external service connections. Separate licensing, configuration, additional development and support. Before comparing prices with custom software, establish record export, control of operational credentials and continuity options if the supplier changes.
Compare the same issuance through redemption
Assessment should use the asset, issuer and network actually proposed by each offer. Avoid comparing demonstrations that implement different journeys.
- Identity: issued asset, issuer account and recipient account conditions.
- Operations: subscription, issuance, transfer and redemption requests.
- Reconciliation: a shared reference linking transaction, order and external money movement.
- Handover: code or licence, exportable data, administration and service continuity.
Our general blockchain development company guide expands supplier assessment. An XRP Ledger decision should establish what the team delivers, what the platform provides and what remains the issuer’s responsibility.
