An NFT’s identity depends on the network, contract and token identifier. ERC-721 defines a common interface for ownership and transfers; ERC-1155 supports multiple token types in one contract.
Metadata may contain an image, attributes or an external reference. Holding the token does not prevent copying its associated file. Content persistence depends on storage and change permissions.
A license or agreement may establish additional rights. Technical ownership must be assessed separately from rights to use, exploit or own external assets.
