Metlabs receives AJE Coruña’s 2025 Business Initiative Award
The 26th AJE Coruña Emprende Awards recognised the company’s blockchain development and asset tokenization work from its base in A Coruña.

Metlabs received AJE Coruña’s 2025 Business Initiative Award at the 26th Emprende Awards. Held in October 2025 at the Club Cámara Noroeste in A Coruña, the ceremony recognised the company’s work in blockchain development and asset tokenization.
The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Province of A Coruña brought together business, institutional and academic representatives to recognise projects from the local entrepreneurial community. The award placed Metlabs among the businesses recognised for their development and activity from Galicia, alongside companies working in other industries.
Recognition for a business initiative
Founded in 2023 by Pablo Gómez, Metlabs develops technology infrastructure for businesses and tokenization projects. Its activity connects product design with the implementation of systems that record and manage operations involving assets and rights.
The award recognised that business development from A Coruña. Metlabs’ international activity is part of an operating model that retains its base in Galicia while working on projects for different markets. Its technology work therefore connects a local team with requirements from businesses operating elsewhere.
The edition also presented Chichalovers with the Entrepreneurial Initiative Award. La Tribu Verde, Zebra Brain and Auxua received distinctions related to social responsibility, innovation and employment creation. Together, the awards brought projects from different sectors into the same business community.

Technology development from A Coruña
Metlabs combines blockchain consulting and development. Before implementing a project, the company works on the use case and the conditions the product needs to meet. That definition guides technical decisions and integration with the business’s processes, giving the development work a clear operating context.
In tokenization, development needs to reflect what is represented, who can operate and how operations are recorded. The technology forms part of a business project that requires coordination between product, infrastructure and management.
The AJE Coruña recognition gave visibility to that activity within the province’s entrepreneurial community. For Metlabs, the award relates to the work of its team and the development of projects for organisations that have trusted the company, providing a local setting in which to share that experience.
An award within the local ecosystem
The ceremony brought companies, associations and institutional representatives together around entrepreneurship in A Coruña. Metlabs’ participation placed its technology experience alongside other initiatives building business activity from Galicia.
Quincemil’s coverage records the awards presented in this edition. The recognition accompanies Metlabs’ development as an asset tokenization company, with a team building blockchain infrastructure from A Coruña for business projects.
