ERC-7683 aims to reduce fragmentation across interoperability protocols. A user signs or submits a protocol-specific order, and a resolver converts it into a common structure containing steps, variables and payments. Solvers can analyze that normalized output without implementing a separate integration for every origin format.
The current revision is resolver-centric: it does not force every protocol to use one public order structure. The original payload may remain opaque, while the resolver acts as a verifiable adapter. Interoperable addresses use ERC-7930 so the same representation can identify accounts and assets across chains.
ERC-7683 remains in Draft status, so interfaces may change. Adoption requires checking the exact version, the resolver trust model, settlement and dispute rules, available solver liquidity, and how the protocol protects users from incomplete or unfavorable execution.
