A permissioned token can separate identity registries, claim issuers and transfer modules. The contract consults these components before allowing an ordinary operation. Legal requirements are translated into specific technical rules whose scope must be documented.
Document verification, data processing and eligibility updates still require external processes. A contract does not itself decide whether an investor meets every requirement or which legislation applies to an instrument.
Freezing, recovery and forced-transfer functions add administrative powers. Their authorization and checks may differ from transfers between holders. System governance is part of compliance by design.
