Metlabs is a blockchain development company with an in-house team. We have spent +4 years building and taken +30 projects to production for companies across different countries.
We still work like a small team. There are few layers, decisions move quickly and everyone understands the full problem. Engineering, design and business work together and stay close to the client.
We are growing into increasingly ambitious projects. We want people who join early, speak up and help shape how the team builds.
About the role
We are looking for someone who wants a voice in the product, not a role limited to delivering screens. You will join the first conversation, help frame the problem and stay with the solution through production.
There will not always be a perfect brief. You will ask questions, test ideas and decide alongside engineering and the client. We want someone with the judgment to simplify without hiding what matters.
What you will do
- Shape complex flows from the mental model through the final interface.
- Turn technical and regulatory constraints into clear product decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI in Figma.
- Talk to users and clients to validate the decisions that matter.
- Work with engineering until the production result feels considered.
- Help evolve our design systems and practices.
What we are looking for
- A portfolio that shows decisions, judgment and shipped product.
- Fluency with Figma, auto layout, variables, components and prototyping.
- The ability to move independently while the problem is still open.
- Good visual taste and attention to the details that make a product feel right.
- Comfort working closely with engineers and discussing real constraints.
- The humility to listen, the clarity to defend a decision and the desire to build as a team.
- Professional English for international projects.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, B2B products or regulated software.
- Knowledge of accessibility and design systems at scale.
- Familiarity with wallets, transactions and on-chain product patterns.
How we work
This is a hybrid role based in A Coruña or Madrid. Design joins from the beginning, works alongside engineering and shares ownership of the final outcome.
