Metlabs is a blockchain development company with an in-house team. We have spent +4 years building and taken +30 projects to production for companies across different countries.
We still work like a small team. There are few layers, decisions move quickly and everyone understands the full problem. Engineering, design and business work together and stay close to the client.

About the role
We are looking for someone who thinks in products and enjoys building. This is not a role for closing isolated tickets. You will understand the problem, propose a solution and take it from the database to the interface.
You will stay close to design, business and the client. You will have the context to decide, the autonomy to move and ownership of what reaches production, even when a perfect specification does not exist yet.
What you will do
- Own complete features with Next.js, React and TypeScript.
- Design APIs and data models with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
- Integrate wallets, contracts and on-chain data with viem or wagmi.
- Work with design and clients to turn complex problems into a clear product.
- Care about performance, accessibility, tests and visual detail.
- Help improve engineering decisions and practices as the team grows.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience building web products with React and TypeScript.
- Sound backend judgment, data modeling and API design skills.
- The ability to own large pieces of work without a closed brief.
- Good product taste and attention to what users actually experience.
- Direct communication, humility and ownership of what you ship.
- An interest in understanding the business, not only the implementation.
Nice to have
- Experience with wallets, signatures, indexers or on-chain events.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- A background in fintech, B2B SaaS or regulated products.

You can work from A Coruña or remotely within Spain. We meet in person when being together improves a decision, unblocks the product or strengthens the team.
