At METLABS BLOCKCHAIN, S.L. (hereinafter referred to as “Metlabs”, “we” or “us”) take
very seriously the privacy and protection of personal data. This
Privacy Policy explains what data we process, for what purpose, on
what legal basis and what rights you are entitled to, in accordance with Regulation
(EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we process

Depending on your relationship with us, we may process the following categories of data:

  • Professional contact information: name, position, company, e-mail, telephone and country.
  • Commercial interaction data: messages, scheduled meetings, status of the commercial process and value of opportunities.
  • Ad campaign data: aggregated ad performance information (impressions, clicks, spend) and attribution parameters (UTM) associated with our own campaigns.
  • Technical data: IP address, device identifiers and navigation data when you visit our website.

3. Purposes of treatment

  • Manage and respond to your requests for information and meetings.
  • To develop our B2B sales and marketing activity.
  • Measure, internally and aggregated, the effectiveness and return on investment (ROAS) of our own advertising campaigns.
  • Comply with our legal and contractual obligations.

4. Legal basis

  • Consent (art. 6.1.a RGPD): when you provide us with your data through forms or reservations.
  • Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f RGPD): for aggregate measurement of our campaigns and B2B commercial prospecting provided.
  • Execution of a contract (art. 6.1.b RGPD): when a contractual relationship exists or is being prepared.
  • Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c RGPD): when a regulation obliges us to keep or communicate data.

5. Data obtained through LinkedIn APIs.

Metlabs uses LinkedIn APIs (including the Advertising API and the Lead
Sync API) exclusively for our own marketing activity
and only with respect to advertising accounts owned by us.
In relation to the data obtained through these APIs:

  • We only access data from our own accounts and campaigns; we do not access data from third party accounts.
  • We use the data only for internal reporting and measurement purposes (calculation of ROAS, CAC and cost per lead/reunion of our ads).
  • We do not sell, rent or lease LinkedIn or member data to third parties, nor do we use it for purposes other than those described here.
  • We treat LinkedIn member data in aggregate form whenever possible and implement security measures to protect it.
  • We comply with LinkedIn’ s API Terms of Use and abide by LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy.
  • We delete or stop processing LinkedIn data when it is no longer needed for the measurement purpose, when the member requests it, or when required by LinkedIn’s terms.

6. Recipients and data processors

To provide our services we rely on suppliers acting as
data processors, with whom we have entered into appropriate
contracts in accordance with art. 28 GDPR. These include
CRM, marketing automation, meeting scheduling and advertising
platforms (e.g. Attio, Cal.com, Brevo, Make and LinkedIn). We do not disclose your
data to other third parties unless legally required to do so.

7. International Transfers

Some of our suppliers may be located outside the European Economic Area
. In such cases, we guarantee that the transfer will be
covered by an adequacy decision or
Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards.

8. Data Retention

We keep the data for the time necessary to fulfill the
purposes described above and, thereafter, for the legally required periods
. When they are no longer needed, we securely delete them.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect
data from unauthorized access, loss or alteration, including
access control, credential encryption and data minimization.

10. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access, rectification and deletion of your data.
  • Limitation or opposition to treatment.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdrawal of the consent given, without retroactive effect.

To exercise them, write to us at
privacy@metlabs.io indicating the
right you wish to exercise. You also have the right to file a
complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency
(www.aepd.es)
if you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations.

11. Cookies

Our website may use its own and third party cookies for technical,
analytical and advertising purposes. You can configure or reject their use through the
cookies panel available on the site.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to adapt it to changes in
regulations or in our services. We will post any changes on
this page, indicating the date of the last update.
